To all you Pokémon and Pokémon nail fans out there - what an exciting time it is for our favorite anime franchise!
What with the recent Pokémon Day announcements - covering everything from the TCG, Scarlet and Violet video games, and Pokémon Sleep - as well as the jaw-dropping news that Ash and Pikachu will be leaving the series at the end of Season 25… there’s a lot going on!
At Cutie Pop Nail Shop, we’re particularly excited to share with you our favorite Pokémon nails that have emerged from 2023 so far!

1/15 - Sprigatito, Fuecoco, & Quaxly Pokémon Custom Nail Wraps
Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from Pokémon’s upcoming Season 26.
These Pokémon custom design nail wraps are - you guessed it - our very own, and they’re the first (that we know of, anyway) to feature character art from the upcoming all-new Pokémon Season 26.
As we wrote in our recent Pokémon 2023 roundup blog, Ash and Pikachu will be leaving the series, to be replaced by the new characters Liko and Roy.
These nail wraps are designed around Liko and Roy’s sidekicks, the new Scarlet and Violet starter Pokémon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
2/15 - Poké Ball & Pikachu Custom Nail Wraps
Poké Ball, Pikachu, and other series motifs feature on these new Pokémon nail wraps.
A tribute to some of the series’ Gotta Catch ‘Em All! motifs, this next set of Cutie Pop Nail Shop Pokémon nails features decals of Pikachu and the iconic Poké Ball, as well as gold-and-red, and red-white-and-blue custom design nail wraps.
A nod to the anime series’ amazing manga art, we hope you’ll find these new Pokémon nails as funky as we do!
3/15 - Poké Ball & Pikachu Nails
This second Poké Ball and Pikachu design features a range of alternative nail art.
These Cutie Pop Nail Shop custom nail wraps once again showcase Pikachu and the Gotta Catch ‘Em All decal (against, respectively, our Snow White and Earl Grey nail strips), but this time feature black and white stripes, a red vixen nail with a glitter tip, and a golden glitter nail - the perfect Pikachu nails for the Detective Pikachu movie!
4/15 - Pastel Eevee Nail Wraps
These custom Eevee nails feature the evolutions Glaceon, Sylveon, and Espeon.
This fourth set of Cutie Pop Nail Shop Pokémon nails is our exclusive, soon-to-be-launched custom Eevee nail wraps!
Featuring three of Eevee’s evolutions - Glaceon, Sylveon, and Espeon (more coming soon!) - these nails come with rainbow French tips and a pastel-rainbow accent. Oh, and of course another Poké Ball for good measure!

5/15 - Swirly, Cheeky Pikachu Nails

These brightly-colored swirling nail tips and the cheeky middle-finger Pikachu nail accent are a big hit with us.
The combination of pink, blue, and yellow is garish and loud, yet super hot!
6/15 - Airbrushed & Painted Squirtle Nails

Keeping with the Generation 1 Pokémon theme, these aquatic-blue, coffin-shaped Squirtle nails have been airbrushed and hand-painted, and the combination of rhinestone crystals and painted sun imagery gives these nails a beautiful, bright finish.
7/15 - Pink-and-Turquoise Mew Nails

This pink-and-light-blue Mew mani is a glossy and stylish tribute to this seemingly uncatchable psychic Pokémon (keep going, Goh!).
The nails’ alternating color palette is catchy and cute, and the touch of glitter adds to the acrylics’ slick sheen!
8/15 - Charmander Evolution Nails

Yikes - these Charmander evolution nails are HOT! The hand-painted fire swirls have an almost lifelike look, and are the perfect complement to the immaculately hand-drawn Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard nail accents.
9/15 - Gen 1 Bonanza Pokémon Nails

Another winking Pikachu nail - though this time with other Gen 1 Pokémon nails.
From duck-egg blue to custard yellow, these vibrant gel-polished acrylics are fun and cheerful.

10/15 - Pink, Pink Pikachu Nails

Classy and natural-length, the middle-finger peeping Pikachu nail accents look so good against this mani’s bubblegum-pink base layer.
Very stylish, and with a strong hint of the spring nail theme thrown in as well - we love them!
11/15 - Vaporeon Nails

As with our Glaceon, Sylveon, and Espeon nails above (see 4/15), these Vaporeon nails make great use of the Eevee evolution nail art theme.
The off-white topcoat emphasises the gentle blues and hues in this mani, creating an artistic and authentic look!
We’ll be doing something similar very soon - watch this spot!
12/15 - Chunky Espeon & Umbreon Nails

These glassy, glossy Pokémon nails again feature evolutions of the Eevee Pokémon - this time Espeon and Umbreon.
The combination of purple-and-pink and dark-fading-to-light ombrés add to the crystalline look of these nails, elevating this manicure’s fabulous hand-drawn nail art.
13/15 - Gengar & Skull-and-Crossbones Nails

These menacing-looking Gengar nails perfectly capture this Shadow Pokémon’s ghostly nature.
The purple gel polish really allows this Gengar’s pink eyes and white smile to stand out, and the painted-on blue stars and pink skull-and-crossbones designs are a nice touch too!
14/15 - Silver & Bold Pokémon Nails

We’re loving the bold Pokémon character art on these square acrylics painted with silver glitter gel!
Featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Clefairy, and Mew, these hand-painted nails look as though they’ve been lifted straight out of a manga book - awesome!
15/15 - Squirtle Spring Nails

Our final choice of Pokémon nails is this delightful spring nail manicure featuring a Squirtle accent.
The vintage floral designs look perfect against the glossy sky-blue and tree-green topcoat, plus we love that cheerful Squirtle smile - incredibly seasonal and fun!
